Summary
I’ll be honest- video editing has always been one of my favorite things. I’ve always had an interest in it, so going in I already had a video editor in hand! I think one of my biggest takeaways from this portion of the class is learning about the different camera angles. I recognize how they are used, but I never actually knew the terms for each, so this was super useful.
I feel like one of the parts I found hard here wasn’t the video editing itself, but instead my time management. I had a very busy week, and I was afraid I wasn’t going to finish in time. In order to properly edit a video and have it turn out the way you want, I do think you should know what you are capable of making in the time you have.
I wasn’t completely satisfied with my end products and I think I can do better, but I need to understand that it takes practice! I think if I were to edit more often, I’d be able to pull off a much better end result. I really enjoyed this part even with my time crunches, and shocked that the class is almost over.
